Workplace Training
Since 2007, YPK Bali has worked together with the Bali Labour Department to lead skill training workshops designed to encourage physically disabled people to enter the workforce. Workshop participants have come from all 8 regencies in Bali with varying physical conditions such as visual impairment, post Stroke, Polio and Cerebral Palsy. The workshops explore possible career paths for the participants and also look at business management practices. The Bali Labour Department provides each participant with the tools and equipment needed to start their own business. To date, over 100 people have participated in these workshops, and many have started their own successful businesses.
